Welcome to RecallVerse, operated by Total Recall AI LLC ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application ("the App") and website at recallverse.io ("the Website"). By creating an account, accessing, or using RecallVerse in any manner, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App or Website.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use RecallVerse.

If you use RecallVerse on behalf of a business, organization, or government entity, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

RecallVerse is an AI-powered personal contact management and network-analysis platform. It allows users to:

• Save and manage contacts
• Add written notes
• Record short audio clips solely for automated transcription
• Automatically generate text transcriptions using AI
• View analytics and relationship insights
• Generate a network diagram and contact intelligence
• Access optional premium features and subscription plans

3. User Accounts

You must create an account using Firebase Authentication (Google, Apple, or email/password). You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep login credentials confidential
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us of unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Data Storage & Security

RecallVerse uses Firebase and Google Cloud to securely store user data. We enforce strict data-isolation:

• Each user's data is tied to their unique Firebase uid
• Users cannot access other users' data
• Security rules prevent unauthorized reads or writes
• Sensitive operations are performed server-side using Firebase Cloud Functions
• No API keys are ever sent to the client

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

• HTTPS encryption in transit
• Google Cloud encryption at rest
• Strict Firebase security rules
• Server-side verification for all requests

5. Voice Notes & Transcriptions

When you record audio in the App:

1. The audio is temporarily processed by secure backend services
2. AI generates a text transcription
3. The audio data is not stored, saved, or retained
4. Only the text transcription is stored under your account

By using the App, you authorize us to process audio for the purpose of generating transcriptions.

6. AI Processing

To provide certain features (summaries, insights, network analysis, transcription), RecallVerse may send limited excerpts of your data to third-party AI providers such as:

• OpenAI
• Anthropic
• Google (Gemini)

We send only what is necessary for the feature you request. We do not send unnecessary personal identifiers (such as emails or phone numbers) unless required for a feature.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or offensive content
• Upload data about someone without their consent, where required
• Misuse the App to harass or spam others
• Reverse engineer or tamper with the platform
• Attempt to access another user's data
• Circumvent security protections

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the accuracy of your contact entries.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features are available only through paid subscriptions.

• Pricing may vary by region
• Payments are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or our secure website checkout (if applicable)
• All purchases follow the refund policies of the platform where payment was made
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings

We are not responsible for billing issues with Apple, Google, or third-party payment processors.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to RecallVerse — including software, design, branding, algorithms, and content — belongs to Total Recall AI LLC.

You retain ownership of your personal data (contacts, notes, transcriptions).

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and display it solely for operating and improving RecallVerse.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your conduct risks harm to other users or the platform
• You misuse or attempt to circumvent security controls

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon deletion:

• Your stored data will be erased from active databases
• Some encrypted backups may persist for a limited period as required by law
• Paid subscriptions will not renew

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

RecallVerse is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of AI-generated insights
• Compatibility with every device
• That the App will meet your specific needs

You use the App at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Total Recall AI LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated insights

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain exclusions; in those cases, our liability will be limited to the minimum permitted by law.

13. Privacy Compliance

We comply with global privacy regulations, including:

• GDPR (EU/UK)
• CCPA (California)
• Saudi PDPL
• UAE Data Law (as applicable)
• Other relevant regulations

Users have the right to:

• Request access to their data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion
• Export their data
• Withdraw consent where applicable
