Privacy and security
Who can see the contacts I upload?
Only you. Your contacts are stored on Google Cloud in a partition tied to your account, encrypted at rest and encrypted in transit over HTTPS/TLS. There is no shared directory and no search across users.
Can anyone listen to my voice notes?
No. The recording is sent over an encrypted connection to be transcribed, and the audio is then deleted. We keep the text transcript, encrypted in your account.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. The AI processes your notes to organize and search your contacts. Your data is not used to train our models or our AI provider's models.
What happens if I delete the app or my account?
Every contact you saved is already in your phone's contacts, so it stays with you. If you delete your account, your contacts, notes and transcripts are permanently removed from our servers. You can export a CSV first.
I'm a consultant. Is it safe to add client contacts?
Each account's data is kept in its own partition with no cross-user search, encrypted at rest and in transit. For firm-wide use, talk to our team about onboarding and admin controls.

Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, to add someone new: the AI transcribes and organizes each contact as you capture it. Contacts already saved to your phone stay available anytime.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone (iOS 16 and later) and Android (Android 11 and later).
Can I import contacts I already have?
Yes. Import from your phone's address book, a CSV, or a LinkedIn export.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You keep the free features for good: voice and card capture, unlimited card scans and basic search. Pro, at $4.99 a month, keeps the AI Assistant, semantic search, unlimited contacts, sync and CSV export.
How accurate is the AI?
Every answer comes from your own contacts and notes. If RecallVerse can't find someone, it says so rather than inventing a person.
